My husband would say I sell myself short and don't fully recognize God's work through me. My children would say that I have consistently repeated the importance of being thoughtful, frugal, generous, and serving God unreservedly. My friends would say I am quiet and loyal and would take a bullet for any one of them. But I say I am just me.

My children would say that I have consistently repeated the importance of being thoughtful, frugal, generous, and serving God unreservedly. My friends would say I am quiet and loyal and would take a bullet for any one of them. But I say I am just me. A bit reserved, painfully practical, preferring to work in the background, cheering others on from the sidelines, yet always ready to open my heart to share Jesus and the amazing life found in Him.
I grew up in a southwest Pennsylvania coal mining community. After marrying, God led us to a life of ministry in the States and in several South American countries. Oh, we have stories! Retirement has found us in Florida, where I continue to write the unending story that brings hope and healing to hurting hearts. I pray you will let me share it with you.
I love a simple lifestyle. I like cooking, but if the recipe calls for too many steps, I toss that recipe and find something tasty and healthy but less time-consuming. Though some occasions require me to wear a more sophisticated outfit, I am most comfortable in my blue jeans, tee shirt, and sneakers. Not a fan of huge crowds, I delight in quieter time with friends and family
I love to hear people’s stories, the bare, unedited truths of how they have overcome unimaginable circumstances, and still shout their praises to a God who has walked with them through the fire. I hear the strength of victory in their voices and see the sparkle of joy in their eyes as they tell of a miracle-working God who loves and rescu

We all have our story. The chapters have shaped us into who we are and given us the courage to fearlessly move forward, knowing that the final chapter will be the best one.
My story has highs and lows, tears and laughter, pain and pleasure. I share it as God gives me the opportunity, and I know that my story may resonate with yours. I assure you that a loving God walks with you on your journey. You are not alone. I pray you will find encouragement from the fruit of my pen and that our stories will converge in a chorus of praise.
